th straight loss on Tuesday evening with a 16-10 road conference defeat at Mount Saint Mary. Freshman

Ben Gashi (Bronx, N.Y.) finished the contest with 17 saves in goal.
The Dolphins got off to a slow start on Tuesday, falling behind 6-0 in the early going. Mount Saint Mary outscored Mount Saint Vincent 4-0 in the first quarter and added two more goals at the start of the second period before
Josh James (Brooklyn, N.Y.) got the Dolphins on the board at the 8:35 mark of the second stanza.
Junior
Germain Ngaba (Bronx, N.Y.) scored twice in the second quarter for the Dolphins, but the Knights scored four times to carry an 8-3 lead into halftime. Dylan DeMeo paced Mount Saint Mary with three first half goals.
Prior to halftime, Mount Saint Mary outshot Mount Saint Vincent 26-11 and doubled up the Dolphins in groundballs 30-15. The Knights won eight of the 13 face-offs taken before the break and went 8-for-8 in clearing chances.
The Dolphins outscored the Knights 3-2 in the third quarter to cut its deficit to 9-6 and scored three of the first four goals of the fourth period to pull to within 11-9 on a
Mike McEnaney (New York, N.Y.) goal with 10:48 remaining in the final quarter.
After cutting the deficit to just two goals, the Dolphins saw the Knights rip off the next five goals to open up a 16-9 lead with just under three minutes left in regulation. Joseph Rizzotti sparked the run with a goal and two assists before McEnaney added his second goal of the game in the final two minutes to close out the scoring in the contest.
McEnaney finished the game with two groundballs in addition to his two markers. Lalli led the offensive charge with three goals, adding two groundballs and two caused turnovers. Ngaba closed the night with two goals, five groundballs and a team-high 11 face-off wins.
Sophomore
Michael Puchalski (Yorktown, N.Y.) scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season and picked up four groundballs.
Cadeem Jones (Bronx, N.Y.) scooped four groundballs for the Dolphins and
Joe Esposito (Bethpage, N.Y.) caused a team-high three turnovers.
Mount Saint Mary was led by three goals and five points from DeMeo, while Tristen Earle scored twice and assisted on three goals. Mike Hargraves added five groundballs and three caused turnovers, while Brendan Nestola won 11 face-offs.
Gashi rounded out the night with 17 stops, making at least 10 stops in a game for the eighth time this season. He stopped seven shots in the second quarter and sixth in the third for the Mount and finished the night with three groundballs. Christopher Doerr made eight stops in the win for the Knights in three quarters of work.
Overall, Mount Saint Mary held the advantage in shots 54-36, groundballs 51-35 and face-offs 15-14. Each team scored a goal with the man advantage in four chances.
Tuesday's loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 0-12 overall on the season and to 0-5 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins will close the regular season on Saturday when they travel to Montclair State. Face-off with the red Hawks is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
