Riverdale, N.Y. – Playing the program's first ever game on campus, the College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Lacrosse team was upended by visiting Stockton on Saturday by a score of 17-8.
Pat McEnaney (New York, N.Y.) and
Germain Ngaba (Bronx, N.Y.) each posted three points, while
Frank Maddaloni (Bronx, N.Y.) became the program's new all-time leader in groundballs.

Vincent Manasia scored three times for the Ospreys in the first quarter to give the visitors a 3-1 lead after 15 minutes. Manasia added two more goals in the second stanza and Stockton scored the final three goals of the second period to carry a 7-3 lead into the intermission.

Stockton outshot Mount Saint Vincent 30-8 in the first 30 minutes and won 11 of the 12 face-offs taken before halftime. McEnaney scored twice for the Dolphins in the second quarter with
Josh James (Brooklyn, N.Y.) adding the other Mount Saint Vincent marker before halftime.

After combining for 10 goals in the first half, the two teams combined for 10 goals in the third quarter on Saturday. A three goal run by the Dolphins cut the deficit to 10-8 with 3:26 left in the third quarter as the Mount got goals from
Tim Drake (Floral Park, N.Y.), Ngaba and
Matt Dellacroce (Staten Island, N.Y.).

Leading by two goals late in the third stanza, Stockton ran off the final seven goals of the game, including all five in the fourth quarter to pull away for the nine goal win. Mike Caposella scored five times for the Ospreys after halftime, including four goals in the final period.

McEnaney and Ngaba each finished with two goals and an assist for the Dolphins with Ngaba scoring his team leading 18
th goal of the season. Ngaba won a team-high five face-offs and picked up four groundballs in the game. Dellacroce rounded out the game with a goal and an assist.

Maddaloni entered the game tied for the career lead in groundballs with 265 and picked up a pair of groundballs on Saturday to move into sole possession of first on the career leaderboard.
Joe Esposito (Bethpage, N.Y.) caused two turnovers and collected two groundballs for the Dolphins.

Caposella closed the game with seven goals and nine points with Manasia scoring five times for Stockton. Nick Bologno also had a strong offensive game with two goals and seven assists. Eugene Isola grabbed a game-high 11 groundballs after going 21-for-27 in face-offs.

Junior
Ben Gashi (Bronx, N.Y.) made 15 saves in goal for the Dolphins, making five saves in the opening quarter. Eric Leonard earned the win for the Ospreys with seven stops in three quarters of work.

Overall, Stockton held the edge in shots 56-24 and groundballs 45-25 and went 2-for-3 with the extra man. The Ospreys went 12-for-13 in clearing chances and dominated face-offs 23-6.

Saturday's loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 0-11 overall and to 0-4 in conference play. Next up for the Dolphins is a trip to Mount Saint Mary on Tuesday. Face-off with the Knights is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
