Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team moved to 6-2 at home on Wednesday night with a convincing 25-4, 25-13, 25-4 non-conference victory over Medgar Evers. Sophomore
Tyler Cucullu (Henderson, Nev.) closed the night with a match-high 13 kills for the Dolphins.

Mount Saint Vincent was never challenged in the match, scoring the first eight points of the opening set. The Dolphins hit .609 in the first set, recording 14 kills to open a 1-0 lead. After hitting .200 in the middle frame, the Dolphins closed out the match with 11 kills and a .556 attack percentage in the deciding third stanza.

Cucullu was the only player to reach double-figures in kills on Wednesday, posting 13 winners and hitting an efficient .579. He rounded out the night with four service aces and three digs. Freshman
Michael Kochen (Holbrook, N.Y.) totaled six kills for the Dolphins in the match and
Sean O'Connor (Rockaway Beach, N.Y.) finished the night with five winners.

James DiGiovanni (Bay Shore, N.Y.) handed out 19 assists to lead Mount Saint Vincent with freshman
Logan Dickover (Las Vegas, Nev.) coming off the bench to handed out 10 helpers and record two kills.
T.J. Barczik (Lake Grove, N.Y.) led all players with 11 digs and
Brett Holiday (Stratford, N.J.) finished the night with two blocks for the Mount.

Mount Saint Vincent finished the match hitting an efficient .439 as a unit on Wednesday committing just eight attack errors on the night. The Dolphins held a 37-5 advantage in kills and an 8-1 edge in service aces. Mount Saint Vincent also finished the night with a 4-1 advantage in total team blocks.

At 12-7 overall on the season, Mount Saint Vincent will be back in action again on Friday evening when it travels to Lehman. Match time with the Lightning is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
