Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Lacrosse team will face-off with Anna Maria College of Saturday evening in the 2014 season opener. The Dolphins and AMCATS will get started at 6:00 p.m. at Gaelic Park in Riverdale, N.Y.

Senior captain
John Petito (Staten Island, N.Y.) returns after leading the Dolphins in scoring last year as well as in groundballs with 60 and caused turnovers with 19. Petito potted a team-high 26 goals and handed out 10 assists to reach 36 points during the 2013 season.

Classmate
Adrian Go (Fair Lawn, N.J.) totaled 21 points during his junior season after totaling 13 goals and eight assists.
Mike McEnaney (New York, N.Y.) closed out a strong freshman season with 16 goals, while
Bruce Pappas (Montrose, N.Y.) tallied 12 times in just eight games.
Derek Wilson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished off the season with a team-high 133 face-off wins.

On the defensive side junior
Frank Maddaloni (Bronx, N.Y.) picked up 52 groundballs for the Dolphins in 2013 and posted 15 caused turnovers.
Joe Esposito (Bethpage, N.Y.) totaled 18 groundballs and scooped 23 groundballs. In goal,
Kyle Kalibat (Oceanside, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Skyline Conference after stopped 162 opponent shots, while posting a 11.16 goals against average in 688 minutes.

Mount Saint Vincent came up one win short of matching the program record for wins in a season in 2013. The Dolphins collected its first ever win over Maritime last season and posted a 6-4 record at home.

The Dolphins will look to set the single season win mark in 2014 with seven home games in 2014. Following the game with Anna Maria the Dolphins will host Bard before traveling to Thomas. The Mount will return home to host Cobleskill and Alvernia on March 5 and 8.Â
