Axel Urgiles (North Bergen, N.J.) won the Dolphins' only bout of the day, as the team placed 14
th with 0.5 points.
In the 149 weight class, Urgiles posted a 1-2 record. After dropping his first bout of the day, Urgiles rebounded to post a 4-3 win over York's (Pa.) Joe Ramsel.
Other competitors on Saturday in the season opener for the Dolphins were
Christian Hilario (Haverstraw, N.Y.) at 125 pounds (0-2),
Patrick Polintan (Hartsdale, N.Y.) at 165 pounds (0-2),
Karl Schmitt (Westbury, N.Y.) at 184 pounds (0-2) and
Mason Shuya (El Paso, Texas) at 285 punds (0-2).
After a week off, Mount Saint Vincent will return to competition on November 15 when it travels to Bristol, R.I. to take part in the Roger Williams Invitational.
