Yonkers, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Soccer team matched the program's longest winning streak since 2005 on Sunday afternoon with a hard fought 4-2 victory over Cooper Union. The Dolphins featured four different goal scorers with 
Jonathan Barajas (Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.) and 
Kevin Jardines (South Gate, Calif.) each recording three points.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent got on the board just over 15 minutes into the contest when 
Matthew Samaan (Manalapan, N.J.) converted a pass from 
Joshua Zumbado (Bronx, N.Y.) to open the scoring on the afternoon.
	 
	The Dolphins would extend their lead to 2-0 at 31:56 when Jardines tallied for the fourth time of the season. Barajas put a pass inside the box that Jardines buried for a marker in his second straight game.
	 
	The Jardines tally was one of three goals scored in the final nine minutes of play in the first half on Sunday. Cooper Union got back to with a goal, at 2-1, when Peter Kim scored at the 35:54 mark. The Kim goal was the first allowed by the Dolphins this season.
	 
	Holding on to a one goal advantage, the Dolphins struck again with 90 seconds remaining in the period. Barajas finished a pretty centering pass from Jardines for the eventual game winner and to get the Mount its two goal advantage back.
	 
	Coming out of halftime, Cooper Union again got to within a goal when Anthony Adal converted a goal in the 50
th minute. Mount Saint Vincent rallied to take its third two goal lead of the game when 
Hubert Bararwandika (Bronx, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season in the 54
th minute to close out the scoring in the game.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent featured four different goal scorers in the game and five different players with a point. 
Victor Ramirez (Los Angeles, Calif.) added an assist for the Mount and leads the team with 13 points.
	 
	
David Melchor (Los Angeles, Calif.) picked up the win for Mount Saint Vincent, making two saves, including one late in regulation to preserve the two goal lead. Melchor now holds a 0.21 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.
	 
	Sunday's win is the Mount's fifth straight and improves to 5-0 overall on the season. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Wednesday night when they play host to Vaughn. Kick-off at Tibbetts Brook Park is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
