Newburgh, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Lacrosse team was dealt a hard fought 12-11 loss on Wednesday evening on the road at league rival Mount Saint Mary. 
Adrian Go (Fairlawn, N.J.) paced the Dolphins' offensive attack with five points.
	 
	The two teams played the opening 30 minutes on Wednesday even, heading to the intermission tied at six goals apiece. The Dolphins rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the opening stanza with three straight scores in the final 5:23, including two goals from Go and a man-up tally from 
Kyle Kalibat (Oceanside, N.Y.).

Matt Desimone (Congers, N.Y.) got the Mount out to a 5-3 lead with back-to-back goals in the second quarter, before the Knights closed the frame with three of the final four goals to send the teams to halftime tied at 6-6. Jake Robison got the Knights even with a marker with three ticks left on the second quarter clock.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent fell behind quickly in the third period when Nick Findlay score for the Knights 56 seconds into the quarter, but Mount Saint Vincent opened a 10-7 lead after 45 minutes of play with the final four tallies of the third. 
John Petito (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored twice in the quarter with Go assisting on his second of the frame.
	 
	Trailing by three goals heading into the final period, Mount Saint Mary outscored Mount Saint Vincent 5-1 in the fourth the sneak away with the victory. The Knights scored the first five goals of the stanza and got two goals from Matt O'Donnell.
	 
	Go scored his fourth goal of the game for Mount Saint Vincent with 1:44 left in regulation, but the Dolphins could not find the equalizer as they dropped their second straight contest.
	 
	Go equaled the game-high in points with five and also added three groundballs for the Dolphins. Petito scored three times and Desimone added a pair of markers. Petito picked up seven groundballs and eight different players caused a turnover for the Dolphins.
	 
	Findlay and Robison each finished the game with five points for the Knights, with Findlay scoring three times and Robison assisting on three goals. Ray Bednarczyk finished the day with a team-high eight groundballs and two caused turnovers.
	 
	Kalibat made the start in goal for the Mount and made 10 saves to go along with six groundballs. Connor Haran earned the win for Mount Saint Mary with 11 saves and added seven groundballs.
	Mount Saint Vincent finished the game with a 53-34 advantage in shots overall, but shots on goal in the game were even at 22-22. Mount Saint Vincent won the groundball battle 49-47 and won 14 of the 27 face-offs taken. Geermaine Ngaba (Bronx, N.Y.) won 10 draws for the Dolphins and secured 11 groundballs.
	 
	Wednesday's loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 5-9 overall on the season and to 1-4 in league play. The Dolphins will close out the Skyline Conference schedule on Saturday when they travel to Kean. Face-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
