Bronxville, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team got back into the win column on Thursday night with a 3-0 road win at Sarah Lawrence. The Dolphins took the match by scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-14 and were paced on the night by 10 kills from Brett Holiday (Stratford, N.J.).
 
Holiday finished the night hitting a red-hot .750 after committing just one attack error in 12 attempts. He rounded out the night with an ace, a dig and a total block for Mount Saint Vincent.
 
Chris Bacchi (Hicksville, N.Y.) and Joe Ecock (Brooklyn, N.Y.) also had strong evenings for the Dolphins and combined for 15 winners. Bacchi put away eight kills to go along with 10 digs and four total blocks, while Ecock posted seven winners and lifted a dig.
 
Michael Sin (Hicksville, N.Y.) continued his steady play for the Dolphins after handing out 30 assists in the match. He has now recorded 426 helpers on the season and is averaging just over eight assists per set. Timothy Kolodny (Woodland Hills, Calif.) posted seven digs on the night and Roosevelt Castillo (Bronx, N.Y.) totaled five kills.
 
Overall in the match, Mount Saint Vincent hit .273 as a team and finished off 35 kills. The Dolphins also lifted 27 digs and recorded 4.5 total team blocks against Sarah Lawrence.
 
The win gives the Mount three victories in its last five outings and moves it to 6-10 overall on the season. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Friday when they take on Mount Olive and York as part of the York Men's Volleyball Classic starting at 6:30 p.m.
