Bronx, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball team dropped an 18-25, 25-16, 24-26 and 22-25 decision on Thursday night at cross-town rival Lehman. Freshman 
Ashleigh Scozzari (New Rochelle, N.Y.) paced the Dolphins with 13 kills and six blocks.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent and Lehman went back-and-forth in the opening set, with the Dolphins pulling in front 15-14 on a 
Kristine DeMasi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) service ace. Lehman responded with an 11-3 run to close the set, taking advantage of five Mount Saint Vincent miscues.
	 
	After hitting -.091 in the opening set, the Mount rebounded in the second stanza to record eight kills to pull even in the match. A 6-0 run from the Dolphins early in the frame got them out to an 8-3 lead.
	 
	Lehman would not score more then three consecutive points in the second set, with the Dolphins scoring five of the final eight points, including kills from 
Zana Daluz (Pawtucket, R.I.) and Scozzari.
	 
	The third and fourth sets were both tightly contested and saw Lehman use late rallies in each of the final two frames to secure the victory. After an 
Allison Regan (Carmel, N.Y.) kill gave the Dolphins a 24-20 lead in the third, the Lightning ripped off the last six points to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent built a 21-17 lead in the fourth set after a four point spurt keyed by a pair of Scozzari kills and a Regan service ace. However, the Lightning again rallied and scored eight of the last nine points to earn the victory.
	 
	Scozzari finished the match with double-figures in kills for the fifth straight match and the 12
th time overall on the season. She also lifted three digs for the Mount and came up one block short of her career-high with six.
	 
	Regan also had a strong night for Mount Saint Vincent after registering eight kills for the Dolphins. She also recorded four service aces, lifted five digs and totaled three blocks. DeMasi also posted four aces for the Dolphins to go along with nine digs and three winners.
	 
	Sophomore 
Carly Jenkinson (Pacifica, Calif.) led the Mount with 10 digs, while Daluz handed out 15 assists.
	 
	Lehman received 12 kills from Jo-Marie Aquino and a match-high 29 assists and 16 digs from Imani Dubois.
	 
	For the match, Lehman finished with 38 kills to 27 for Mount Saint Vincent, while the Dolphins held the edge in service aces 13-12 and total team blocks 9-3. The service ace total marked the 11
th time the Dolphins have reached double-figures, including in each of the last four matches.
	 
	Thursday's result drops Mount Saint Vincent to 9-11 overall and to 1-3 against CUNYAC opponents in 2012. The Dolphins will return to Skyline Conference play on Saturday when they travel to Maritime to take on the Privateers and St. Joseph's-L.I. The first match of the day is set for 11:00 a.m.
