led the way for the Mount with two goals and sophomore Mike Shea (Congers, N.Y.) posted a team-high three assists.

Stockton broke the game open early with a seven goal first quarter. The Dolphins got on the board and scored their only goal of the first half at the 13:19 mark of the second period when Rowan Frederick (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored an unassisted goal with the man advantage. From there the Ospreys scored the final five goals of the half to carry a commanding 12-1 lead into halftime.

The Dolphins put together a solid second half on Thursday night and outscored Stockton over the final two periods 6-5. Shea scored his 28th marker of the season in the third quarter and Valance scored both of his goals in the fourth, as the Mount posted five of its seven goals in the final period.

Shea led the squad with four points in the game on his goal and three helpers, while Frederick and Valance each finished with two points apiece. Ken Valentine (Centereach, N.Y.) led the way with six groundballs for the Dolphins and Chris Guastamacchia (Goshen, N.Y.) won nine of the Dolphins 12 face-offs.

Stockton was paced by Keith Bologno who posted six points on five goals and an assist. He was one of 12 Ospreys to record at least one point and was one of seven who finished with a multiple point game. Five Stockton players picked up four groundballs in the game and Sean Haugh led all players with 11 face-off wins.

Overall in the game, Richard Stockton held a 59-17 advantage in shots and a 46-23 edge in groundballs. Mount Saint Vincent did convert 3-of-4 with the man advantage, while Stockton went 0-3.

The loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 5-7 overall on the season and to 0-4 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins will close out the regular season on Saturday evening when they host Farmingdale St. on Senior Night. Opening face-off with the Rams is set for 6:00 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park.
