Mike Shea (Congers, NY) also had a strong day for the Mount, as he finished with five tallies in the game.
Reynolds and Shea were two of six goal scorers for the Mount in the win, with Russ Holland (Brooklyn, NY), Ryan O'Dougherty (Morristown, NJ), Chris Beerman (Floral Park, NY) and Brian Zambri (Brooklyn, NY) scoring the other goals for the Dolphins.
Bill Downes (Barkhamsted, CT) led the Dolphins with three assists on the afternoon, as the Mount helped on nine of its 15 markers. Holland added two assists, with Beerman, O'Dougherty and Reynolds each helping on one goal.
Mike Nuzzi (Westbury, NY) played the full game in goal for the Dolphins and made 10 saves in earning the win.
Zambri led the team in groundballs with three on Saturday, while Shea, Cody Green (Waldwick, NJ) and Ken Valentine (Centereach, NY) each scooped a pair in the inning effort.
Overall in the game, Mount Saint Vincent held the edge in shots at 24-21 and in groundballs 13-7. The Dolphins were winners on six face-offs with Beerman winning all six.
The win moves Mount Saint Vincent to 1-7 overall on the season. The Dolphins will be in action again on Sunday when they square-off with Green Mountain. Face-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
