#12 Ramapo on Monday night at Hayes Gymnasium. Scores of the match were 24-30, 18-30, and 25-30 in favor of the Roadrunners. Mount Saint Vincent was led on the night by Ryan Vogel (Holbrook, NY) who finished the contest with 12 kills.

Vogel posted a hitting percentage of .500 on the night, finishing his 12 kills on 20 total attacks and committing just two attack errors. Fellow freshman David Guerrero (East Meadow, NY) continued his strong early season play by posting nine kills in the match and a .333 hitting percentage. Senior Arnold Ross (Wilton, ME) chipped in eight kills in the contest, as the trio finished with 29 of the Dolphins 34 total kills.

Junior setter Chris Dotoratos (Bronx, NY) led the team with 27 assists on the night and also posted a team high eight digs. Dotoratos also assisted on three blocks in the match, as the Mount finished the night with nine total blocks.

Guerrero also posted four digs and a block in the match, while Ross posted a pair of digs and two total blocks for the Mount. John Furka (Massapequa, NY) led four Dolphins with at least three blocks in the match with his four, including one solo.

Ramapo was led by Shane Donohue with 19 kills and a .324 hitting percentage and Brendan Whitford who posted 10 kills in the contest. Jairo Sierra finished the night with a match-high 44 assists and libero Dan Sempkowski led the Roadrunners with six digs.

The loss drops the Mount to 3-4 overall on the season and to 1-1 in the NECVA Metro Division. The Dolphins will be back in action on Saturday when they take part in the MIT Invitational. The Dolphins first match of the tournament will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday against New Haven.
