Men’s Volleyball swept at Lehman

Guerrero paces the Mount with 15 kills

BRONX, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team was downed at Lehman on Thursday night by a score of 3-0. Scores of the match were 25-30, 13-30, and 27-30 against the Mount who fell to 2-2 overall on the season. Freshman Outside Hitter David Guerrero (East Meadow, NY) paced the Dolphins with 15 kills on the night.

Junior T.J. Pufahl (Bethpage, NY) finished the night with five kills for the Mount, while Arnold Ross (Wilton, ME) and Fitzroy Lawson (Kingston, Jamaica) finished the night with three winners apiece.

Mike Quinn (Wantagh, NY) continued his solid early season play on Thursday by leading the team with 22 assists and he also recorded a service ace, a dig and two total blocks. Chris Dotoratos (Bronx, NY) finished up with six assists, a dig and a total block for the Dolphins.

Ross led the squad in digs with 10 on Thursday, while Phil Anselmo (Bronx, NY) posted nine and Pufahl added six.

At 2-2 overall on the season, the Mount will be back in action on Sunday when they take on Medaille and SUNYIT in Utica. The Dolphins first match will start at 2:00 p.m.
