Chris Bacchi (Hicksville, N.Y.) registered a team and career-high 11 winners.
Bacchi finished his 11 winners on 15 total attempts, recording a .600 attack percentage in the match. He also contributed a pair of service aces and five defensive digs in the winning effort. Hockenjos also hit an even .600 in the match and finished with three aces and a pair of digs for the Dolphins.
Justin Amaral (Warwick, R.I.) contributed six kills in the match and also chipped in with three service aces and four digs. Sophomore John Furka (Massapequa, N.Y.) recorded four kills in the contest and also led the team in service aces with five and digs with eight.
Freshman Michael Sin (Hicksville, N.Y.) posted a career-high 19 assists in the match and also chipped in with an ace, a block assist and three digs.
As a team, Mount Saint Vincent hit .476 in the match, including an impressive .727 in the second game. The squad also recorded 17 service aces, 29 digs and four total team blocks in the win.
The win moves Mount Saint Vincent's overall record to 4-6 on the season. Next up for the Dolphins is a home match with NECVA Metro rival New Jersey City University on Monday night. The match at Hayes Gymnasium is slated for 7:00 p.m.
