the 2007 season with 15 kills and 22 digs to go with an outstanding .355 attack percentage, and freshman Rob Hockenjos (West Hempstead, NY/West Hempstead HS) recorded his second career double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team broke a two-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep of CCNY on Thursday night during a match played at CCNY. After being swept by the Beavers a year ago, Mount Saint Vincent experienced a measure of payback with the win and improved to 9-13 overall.

The Mount swept the match 30-25, 30-28, and 30-22 as the match was a near statistical wash, but during each game the Dolphins were able to hold off a pesky CCNY squad as Williams, Hockenjos, and junior Arnold Ross (Wilton, ME/Mount Blue HS) provided all of the offense the Dolphins would need. The trio combined for 36 of the Mount's 45 kills as Ross added 11 kills and narrowly missed a double-double, adding nine digs. Overall, Mount Saint Vincent hit a terrific .228, and combined for 67 digs and 6.5 team blocks.

Mount Saint Vincent was also led by sophomore Chris Dotoratos (Bronx, NY/Salesian), who recorded a match-high 35 assists during another terrific outing.

Mount Saint Vincent will look to make it two straight wins and take another major step towards breaking the .500 mark as a team when they travel to Yeshiva University on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. for a NECVA Metro match-up.
