College of Saint Elizabeth on Tuesday by scores of 4-3 and 8-0. Lisa O'Shea (White Plains, NY) continued her strong play by collecting four hits and five RBI over the two games.

In game one, O'Shea collected two of Mount Saint Vincent's six hits in the contest. She ripped a double and drove in three of the four Mount runs. The Dolphins fell behind 3-1 in the fourth inning in the opener before O'Shea tied it in the home half of the frame with a two run double.

Mount Saint Vincent pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning when O'Shea drove a sacrifice fly to left field. Dana McGuire (Setauket, NY) scored the game winner and crossed home twice in the game.

In game two, Mount Saint Vincent scored four runs in the first inning on its way to the shutout victory. O'Shea collected two more hits and drove in two more runs. McGuire also collected two hits and scored three runs, while Megan Gonzalez (Fishers, IN) went a perfect 3-3 in the game with a run scored. Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, NY) also collected two hits to go along with three RBI.

Gonzalez recorded the win in both games on Tuesday and moved her record to 8-6 overall on the season. In game one, she allowed just one earned run on six hits. She walked just two batters and struck out nine. In the second game, Gonzalez surrendered just four base hits and fanned four batters.

The doubleheader win moves Mount Saint Vincent to 11-9 overall on the season and to 6-0 in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Thursday when they take on St. Joseph's (Brooklyn). First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m. at Fay Field in Yonkers.
