eclipses the previous mark for wins of 16 set in 2006. Nick Triolo (Homer, NY) fired eight strong innings in the win, while Josh Cuozzo (Westbury, NY) finished with two hits and a pair of RBI.

The Dolphins jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first when Joe Blackford (Stewartsville, NJ) connected on his first home run of the season. The lead stood until the fourth when the Bearcats strung together three straight hits to knot the game. The fourth inning was the only inning in which Triolo allowed a base runner.

The Dolphins took the lead for good in the sixth when they pushed across a run on a Cuozzo single. Tanner Munroe (Milord, CT) and Michael Pope (Massapequa, NY) set up the inning with a double and a walk in front of Cuozzo. The Mount added two insurance runs in the eighth to secure the win.

Blackford finished the day 2-4 with s run and an RBI, while Zach Munroe (Milford, CT) also added two hits, both of which were doubles. Munroe also scored a run for the Dolphins. Tanner Munroe scored a pair of runs in the game.

Triolo went 8.0 strong innings and allowed just the three singles in the fourth inning. He surrendered just the one run and did not walk a batter. He fanned 10 in the game and moved to 1-1 on the year. Blackford worked the ninth and recorded his fourth save of the season. He allowed a run on two hits and struck out one.

The win is the Mount's 11th in the past 13 games and moves it to 17-13 overall on the season. The Dolphins will take the field again on Saturday when they host Mount Saint Mary in the Skyline regular season finale. First pitch at Westchester Community College is scheduled for Noon.
