University of Mount Saint Vincent Athletics

Gianni Giragosian joins the UMSV men's soccer coaching staff for the 2026 season as the program's first assistant coach, playing a key role in all aspects of program development, including training, recruiting, player development and match preparation.

Giragosian brings previous collegiate coaching experience from Division-I Long Island University , where he served as an assistant coach from 2018-2021. During his three seasons with the Sharks, Giragosian helped the program reach three consecutive conference finals, earning one NCAA Tournament appearance. Prior to LIU, Giragosian served as an intern with the University of Massachusetts Amherst Men's Soccer program in 2017, helping the Minutemen capture the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

A native of Queens, New York, Giragosian played throughout his youth career, including four seasons at Holy Cross High School. His early playing background provided the foundation for his continued involvement in collegiate soccer and player development.

Giragosian graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Public Health.
