Rob Costanzo has been named to the coaching staff of the College of Mount Saint Vincent’s baseball team for the 2020 season. Costanzo, who will work directly under head coach John Muller, will be joining the collegiate coaching ranks for the first time of his career.
Costanzo comes to CMSV after coaching both in the amateur and high school ranks on Long Island. He spent three years on the staff at Baseball Heaven, as well as two years coaching Sachem North’s junior varsity team. He was also appointed as head coach of Long Island Baseball’s 2022 15 and under team as well.
Costanzo’s playing career is both impressive and extensive. A four year starter at Division-II Dowling College, Costanzo played under esteemed coach Tom Caputo and won a Rookie of the Week Award in 2014, batted .339 during his sophomore campaign and was a part of the team’s ECC championship win in 2017. Costanzo’s high school achievements include All-League and All-County selections, as well as winning Team MVP in 2013 with Sachem North.
Costanzo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Dowling College.
