Student-Athlete Advisory Committee - S.A.A.C
The mission of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C) at the University of Mount Saint Vincent is to develop young student-athletes into leaders, and to enhance the total student-athlete experience on and off the field or court. This is done by promoting various opportunities for everyone in the student body; protecting student-athlete welfare; and fostering a positive student-athlete image, while maintaining the Division III philosophy. UMSV is dedicated to the academic and athletic achievement of all student-athletes and adheres to all NCAA Division III Legislation.
CMSV S.A.A.C Mission Statement / Goals:
- Communication of student-athlete's thoughts, opinions and perspectives to administrators.
- Support the needs of student-athletes and their programs at UMSV.
- Promote school spirit & CMSV Athletics on campus and throughout the UMSV community.
- Embrace everyone and be active in our community.
- Increase awareness on campus of SAAC's mission
- Continue to teach goodness, discipline, and knowledge.
- SAAC meetings held bi-weekly.
