Brooklyn, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent returned to the road, this time challenging St. Joseph's University Brooklyn in Skyline Conference action. It was a tough go for the Dolphins, as they fell to the Bears in four sets to bring their conference record to 1-5.
Head coach
Jeremiah Huntt continued to get the most out of his starting lineup. Three different Dolphins reached double digit kills, with freshman
Raeden Nieves leading the charge with 17.
Jose Dominguez and
Tyler Hanna followed suit with 10 kills apiece.
Christian Ferrer set up his teammates masterfully with 37 assists and also led the charge defensively with a team-high 13 digs. Dominguez and
Roel Lucero also impressed in the serve receive game with 12 and 10 digs, respectively.
Yestro Luciano Jr. continues to be a boon at the front of the net, adding yet another block to his 2026 stat line. He now has 13 solo blocks on the year, good for sole possession of second place in that category in the Skyline.
The Dolphins will look to put a halt on their struggles on Monday when they return home to challenge Yeshiva University.
