Bronxville, NY - Despite a resilient offensive effort, the University of Mount Saint Vincent fell by the score of 65-57 to Sarah Larence College on Saturday afternoon at the Campbell Sports Center in Bronxville. The Dolphins now sit at 2-19 on the year, including a 1-11 record in Skyline play. 

Eric Woodberry led the Dolphins with a team-high 15 points, converting seven-of-10 free throws across 39 minutes. The sophomore added five rebounds while pacing the UMSV's offense throughout the game.

Alex Chi finished with 11 points and was active defensively with four steals, a team best. Blake Salice-Mitchell contributed a solid 10 points on efficient shooting (50% from the floor) and chipped in five rebounds. Gerard Novello provided a spark off the bench with 10 points while Lou Vidal added seven boards. 

UMSV kept the game close throughout, trailing by just seven points at halftime before mounting a second-half surge. The Dolphins lost the scoring battle by just one point after intermission, a stretch that was highlighted by Woodberry's aggressive play and Chi's defensive pressure. Missed opportunities from deep (UMSV shot three-of-18 from three) and key turnovers late in the game allowed Sarah Lawrence to hold off for the victory.
