Riverdale, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent impressed their home fans for the final time in the 2025-26 campaign, as the team walked away winnders in a 95-84 victory over Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday afternoon. 

On a day where seniors were honored, Elijah Benbow was one that stepped up and played a major part in the win. The fourth-year guard posted a career-high 19 points with extreme efficiency, going six-of-seven from the floor across 23 minutes. Sophomore forward Blake Salice-Mitchell had a dominant performance of his own, posting a 23 point, 10 rebound double double. The Long Beach, New York native also chipped in five assists. 

Freshman Tyler Conlee came off the bench and provided a major spark for head coach James Mooney. Conlee secured a season-high 17 points, including four three pointers. Fellow senior Gerard Novello was a boost as well wirh 11 points and seven assists, a number that tied a high for the Dolphins. Eric Woodberry has been the team's go to scorer all year long, but with others showing out, the second year standout impressed in other areas. Woodberry recorded nine boards, seven assists and a steal in the win. 

The Dolphins took control early and remained on top, opening the game with a strong first half that saw them build a lead they would protect into the second. They shot efficiently as a team and used a balanced offensive attack to keep pace throughout, eventually pulling away in the second half with consistent scoring and pressure on both ends of the floor. UMSV shot nearly 52% for the game, including 55% in the second half. 

The Dolphins enter the final week of the season with closing things out on a high note. They'll look to keep their winning ways in tact on Wednesday in a road showdown against Purchase
