Women's Soccer Sees Seven All-Conference Selections

Riverdale, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent finished their season as the number two seed in the Skyline Conference Postseason Tournament, and their team success was reflected within the Skyline's postseason awards. Seven members of the roster were named between the two teams, with seniors Kaitlyn Grady and Gisselle Soria, as well as junior Kerrigyn Lynam, took home first team honors, while seniors Brittany Boyle and Maddie Halford, along with sophomores Ariana Hernandez and Michelle Zuniga, were featured on the second team.

Grady completed her lone season as the team's starting goalkeeper as the conference's best. The Holbrook native's 0.74 goals against average registers as the lowest in a single season in program history (minimum 10 starts) while also recording nine shutouts this season.

Soria has been among the top defenders in the Skyline over the last four years and rightfully earned a spot on the first team in her final campaign. Soria logged 913 minutes while appearing in 13 games with 12 starts.

Lynam once again earned a spot on the First Team after earning the honors as a transfer sophomore in 2025. Lynam is considered one of the top two-way players in the conference, as she dominated the midfield defensively while recording five goals and four assists in 16 starts.

Halford earned Second Team honors for the second time in her career after anchoring a back line that dominated all season while logging a team-high 1175 minutes.. Boyle, meanwhile, saved her best season for last, as the forward exploded offensively with career highs in goals (eight), assists (four) and points (20). Hernandez battled through injuries all season long and proved why she was named last season's Rookie of the Year, with all seven goals and five assists coming in the month of October. Zuniga showed flashes as a freshman but put together an impressive sophomore campaign with five goals on 20 shots on goal.

Head coach Jason Weisberg will hope the individual success will translate into playoff wins. The team is set to open its push towards a championship on Wednesday at home after earning a first round bye.
