White Plains, N.Y. – September 23, 2025 — The University of Mount Saint Vincent golf team welcomed a competitive field to Westchester Hills Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon, placing fifth overall with a team score of 353.
While the Dolphins faced strong opposition, several individual performances stood out in the season's latest outing.
Leading the way was
Patrick Taylor, who turned in the best round of his collegiate career. Taylor fired a personal-record 79, breaking the 80 mark for the first time in Dolphins blue and giving CMSV a much-needed boost on the scorecard.
Behind him,
David Hoagland and
Brennan Sherman both carded rounds in the 90s, showing consistency throughout the afternoon despite challenging pin placements.
Alex Kellay rounded out the scoring for Mount Saint Vincent with a 94. The balanced effort gave the Dolphins their 353 total, good enough for fifth place in the team standings in their first home match of the season.
The Dolphins will be back on the Course on October 8th when they head to Purchase, New York to take on the Manhattanville Valiants in more Skyline Conference Action
