Riverdale, NY - The best goalkeeper in the Skyline resides in Riverdale. 

Makenna Reekie, the second year goaltender out of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, was named First Team All Skyline on Monday, according to a press release by the conference office. Reekie was selected by all eight opposing teams to receive the honor. 

Reekie joins Chanel Comis (2006), Michelle Yarger (2006-07), Kelly Martin (2008-10), Kim Freaso (2009), Jesse Mitchell (2009-11) and Alicia Rodriguez (2022-24) as the only student-athletes in program history to be award First Team All Conference honors. 

The sophomore finished second in the Skyline with an average of 13.45 saves per game while ranking third with a 47% save percentage. Reekie made 148 total saves across 11 games, good for third in the conference, while also recording 69 ground balls with 25 caused turnovers. 

Reekie will look to lead a young Dolphins program in 2026 as they look to return to the playoff picture.
