Newburgh, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent's season has come to an end.
The Dolphins set their sights on Newburgh on Saturday afternoon, competing in their finale against Mount Saint Mary College. The Knights got the better of UMSV, winning by the score of 21-8, resulting in a 2-9 record this season.
The offensive trio of
Macey Forg,
Ella Meberg and
Isabelle Gurley each finished the way they started - as impressive offensive talents. Forg, one of the top scorers throughout her collegiate career - finished the game with two assists, giving her 29 total points in 2025. Both Meberg and Gurley had three goals apeice, as Meberg had 20 goals scored this year while Gurley - who also added an assist in the contest - had 15 goals and six helpers.
Gurley also recorded three ground balls and a caused turnover.
Brooke Frierson impressed with four caused turnovers and four ground balls while
AB Burnett scored a pair of goals of her own.
Goalkeeper
Makenna Reekie made 14 saves against the Knights, giving her 148 for the season. That total is good enough for fourth all time in a single campaign in program history.
