Dolphins Honor Seniors In Season Finale Against Maritime

Riverdale, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent honored the Class of 2025 - Ryan Jean-Pharuns, Ethan Fajardo, Jake Luxoro, Rene Alamo and Joseph Seminatore - on Saturday, with their season finale against Maritime College following suit. The Dolphins made a strong comeback in the second half, but first half struggles were too tough to overcome, losing by the score of 24-12. UMSV went 5-10 in 2025.

The Mariners got on the board early and often, scoring 13 consecutive goals over the first two quarters. Alamo got the Dolphins on the board at the 6:18 mark for the team's first strike of the game. Chai Dunlap would take advantage of a man-up opportunity to close out the half, bringing the score to 17-2 at the break.

The Dolphins would turn up their offensive attack in the second half, outscoring the Mariners 10-7 over that span. The standout freshmen duo of Elvis Prempeh and Nigel Walker completed their first seasons with the program in impressive fashion, with Prempeh scoring four second half goals while Walker added two goals and an assist to his season totals. Fajardo would score a pair of goals in his final collegiate contest while both Alamo and Dunlap would convert one shot attempt each in the second half as well.

Alfred Lamptey completed his 2025 season in impressive fashion. His 120 ground balls are far and away the most in single season history, and his 59% faceoff win percentage also ranks first in a single season. Walker, Donte Thornhill, Nathanial Simpson and Miguel Cordero each had a caused turnover. Seminatore led the way with seven goals in the first half.
