Riverdale, NY - It was a grinded out battle in the Sharp Center as the University of Mount Saint Vincent Women's basketball team took on Manhattanville. After falling to the Valiants earlier this season the Dolphins came out ready to compete only down two at the end of the first quarter.
Transfer standout

The Valiants had a strong 3rd quarter outscoring the Dolphins 23-12. The Dolphins would cut the lead to 8 points in the fourth quarter with momentum looking to take the lead, but the Valiants pushed away.
Smith led the way with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and shooting 4 for 7 from three-point range. Captain
JaKaia Lotz dominated the boards with 14 rebounds along with 10 points. Freshman
