King's Point, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent wrapped up their slate of games in the year 2025 when they traveled to King's Point to take on the United States Merchant Marine Academy. It was a tough go for the Dolphins, losing the battle by the score of 93-35. They finish the first half of the season with a 2-7 overall record, including going 1-5 in conference play.
Six different Dolphins reached the scoring column, with junior
Nailea Green leading the way. The forward paced all Dolphins with nine points while also securing six rebounds, also a team-high. Sophomore
Angelina Escobinas added eight points of her own, while classmates
Grace Kennedy and
Sophia Mandalakis secured six points each. Junior
Olivia Dutzer played in a season-high 24 minutes and led the charge with a pair of assists while Green,
Julia Angeles and
Jadamarie Henry each had one block.
The Dolphins as a whole shot just 24% from the floor. They did, however, find some success in the paint, scoring 20 total points from down low.
UMSV will next take the court in the new year. They're slated to challenge John Jay College on the road come January 3.
