Wilkes-Barre, PA - Junior standout
Alicia Rodriguez continued to climb the ranks to become arguably the best player in women's lacrosse program history. The Easton, Pennsylvania native scored her 100th career goal in just 26 games for the Dolphins, propelling the University of Mount Saint Vincent to a major 17-3 win over King's College of Pennsylvania. The win is the first of the season for head coach

The game was close throughout the first quarter, as the Dolphins and Monarchs traded leads. Rodriguez opened the contest with a goal in just the third minute of action, and was followed up by senior midfielder
Alyssa LaTorre, who scored her first goal of the 2024 season to give UMSV the two goal lead. After King's would put in two straight shots of their own,

The game would be tied at three after the first quarter, but that was as close as the Monarchs would get.
UMSV would go on a 14-0 run the rest of the way as the Dolphins controlled the game in all facets. Rodriguez would score her 100th goal at the 4:03 mark in the second quarter when she took it all by herself, something that she has become known for.
