Riverdale, NY - The Dolphins were dominant in their seventh conference win of the year.
The University of Mount Saint Vincent hosted St. Joseph's University Brooklyn on Wednesday evening and put the Bears away early, as they would emerge victorious 10-0, good for the team's ninth win of the 2024 season. The Dolphins are also now 7-1-1 in Skyline play.
Standout senior
Alicia Rodriguez continued her strong string of games on Marillac Field. The midfielder recorded a hat trick just nine minutes into the action while adding a fourth goal at the 22 minute mark. Her four goals and one assist now gives her 17 points across her last three games.
Sophomore striker
Eva Puentes would round out UMSV's scoring chances, as her second goal of the season would add to the Dolphins' 5-0 lead at the break.
Puentes would add one more strike in the second half while
Mia Del Rosario,
Aubrey Gulbin,
Gabriela Del Castillo and
Gisselle Soria would also add the the Dolphins' lead.
Rodriguez, Puentes,
Ima Kellerman (two),
Cameron Cruz,
Brittany Boyle,
Emily Brownell and
Victoria Gamarra would add assists to their season totals.
The Dolphins will take on Yeshiva this coming Sunday on the road before closing out their regular season slate at home against Manhattanville.
