Box Score Riverdale, NY - After finishing in a tie against reigning Skyline Conference champions Sarah Lawrence, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's women's soccer team took to Marillac Field on a rainy Saturday afternoon, looking for their first conference win of the year. The Dolphins did just that and in an impressive fashion when they blanked Purchase College, en route to a 7-0 victory.
The Dolphins jumped out to a lead early, putting things away almost as soon as things got started. Standout defender
Dana DeDominicis was an offensive force against Purchase, as she scored the first two goals of her collegiate career. The Holland, Pennsylvania native scored both within a two minute span, starting at the 14 minute mark. Both shots were assisted by
Caitlyn Thompson, who continues her impressive first year with the Dolphins.

Arianna Morales scoring her first of the 2023 season, giving her team a three goal edge going into halftime.
CMSV's dominance continued throughout the second half. Head coach

Emily Brownell scoring two goals herself while freshmen

Eva Puentes each scoring goals of their own. As a whole, the Dolphins took 35 shots, inclduing 18 on goal. Sophomore
Javiera Sanchez blanked the Panthers, as she turned away the one shot on goal she faced.
The win gives the Dolphins serious momentum heading into this week of action. Game action resumes on Tuesday when CMSV heads to Purchase to take on Manhattanville College.
