Box Score Farmingdale, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's undefeated streak against the Skyline Conference came to an end on Saturday in a matchup against Farmingdale State College. The contest - serving as a rematch from the 2022 conference semifinal - saw the Rams walk away with a 3-1 win. Despite the loss on CMSV's end, they remain in second place with playoffs less than a week away. 

The rare loss for the Dolphins wasn't due to a lack of opportunity. Stuart Dick's squad took 18 total shots, compared to just five for Farmingdale, with eight of those reaching the net. The Rams featured an efficient offensive attack, with all three shots that went towards goalkeeper Brooke Frierson finding the back of the net. 

Standout freshman Caitlyn Thompson was the lone Dolphin to secure a point, which came in the 76th minute. The Staten Island, New York native buried a penalty shot attempt, good for her 11th goal of the year and atop her team's statistics page. 

The Dolphins wrap up the regular season on Tuesday afternoon in a pivotal matchup against USMMA.
