Scranton, PA- The CMSV Men's lacrosse team traveled to Pennsylvania for a non-conference matchup against Marywood College. The Dolphins played hard, but their effort wasn't enough as they were outlasted by the Pacers, 22-2.
The Dolphins ran into a tough Pacer squad as they were outmatched offensively and defensively. Junior Sawyer Davis had a busy night as he saw 55 shots come his way. His seven ground balls and 33 saves were both team highs.
While the game wasn't in the Dolphins' favor, they continued to fight hard throughout the full game. Both goals came in the 4th period for the Dolphins. Senior Matthew Pincus was able to put the first goal in for the Dolphins with 12:57 left in the game.
Junior Giovanni Jean-Pharuns was the second Dolphin to put a goal past the Pacer goalie in the final minutes of the game.
The Dolphins will look to regroup and prepare with a hard week of practice as they head to New Paltz next Saturday, March 14th.
