Brooklyn, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's volleyball team was once again on the road this evening, this time in Brooklyn, looking for their first win of the 2020 season. They took on the Medgar Evers Cougars who entered play with a 3-0 overall record. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they once again dropped a contest, bringing their overall record to 0-9.
Terence Strehle continued his strong start to his first collegiate season, as he registered a team-high five kills over the three set match.
Jose Estrella and
Felix Paulino finished with two apiece. Both Estrella and freshman
Samuel Martinez showed off their size, as they combined for five total blocks. Senior
Padelis Astrinidis paced his team in both assists (nine) and digs (6). Paulino had six digs of his own.
The Dolphins will now turn their attention to Hunter College, where they'll look to pick up their first victory. They'll take on the Hawks this coming Thursday at 6:00 PM.
