Riverdale, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is honoring athletes for their hard work both on and off the field in the form of the SAAC-letes of the Month awards. The committee named
Dorian Robinson (men's basketball),
Mia Peters (women's lacrosse) and
Lakisha Camacho (softball) as the first-ever recipients.
The trio were selected due to their roles in putting together the first ever Dolphin Difference Coalition event. On September 11, the Coalition brought all student-athletes together to promote inclusion and community building, as well as having student-athletes sign up to vote. SAAC topped off the night by handing out boxed dinners to all participants.
