Box Score Middletown, CT- The Men's Basketball team headed to Connecticut this weekend to take on NESCAC powerhouse Wesleyan. After a tightly contested first half, the Cardinals pulled away from the Dolphins in the second half to secure the win 89-66.
 The Dolphins were playing some of their best basketball of the season coming into this afternoons contest and were looking to continue their high level of play. They did just that in the first half trading baskets with the Cardinals and getting contributions from all over the roster. The Dolphins saw eight different players score a basket in the first half, the balanced attack lead to a solid first half that saw the Dolphins trailing by 9 heading into the break 40-31.
The second half the Dolphins struggled on the offensive end scoring only 25 points in the second half while giving up 49. Despite the rough half CMSV showed some bright spots asÂ

Erich Naumann both contributed for the Dolphins. Graham shot 50% from the field as well as knocking down his two free throws. Naumann netted his first collegiate three ball for the Dolphins.
Mamadou Mariko had another strong outing for the Dolphins as well scoring 12 points and adding three rebounds.Â
The Dolphins will now have a week to prepare for the most important part of their season, Skyline Conference play. After an extremely rigorous non-conference schedule, the Dolphins are certainly battle tested and ready to go. The Dolphins will head to St. Joseph's Long Island next Saturday and look to even their skyline record and start 2020 on the right foot. CMSV now sits at an overall record of 3-7.
