CMSV Collect 17-5 Win Over Sage In Women's Lacrosse Action

Albany, NY— The College of Mount Saint Vincent's women's lacrosse team traveled to the Sage Colleges in Albany, New York on Monday night in a non-conference match held at ACP's Stadium. The Dolphins posted the 17-5 win to improve to 6-5 overall, while Sage drops to 2-9 on the season.

CMSV led 9-2 at the break and were paced by the play of sophomore Emma Dell'Aquila, who added four goals with two assists to her stat sheet. Rookie midfielder Sophia Raccolin added four goals as well for the Dolphins, in what was the best game of her young career.

Paulina Mandujano, Morgan Pavlik and Amy Cohen each aided in CMSV's offensive outpouring. The trio scored two goals apiece while Pavlik also registered six draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Kacey Brown was a force on the defensive end, as her four caused turnovers gave her a team-high 23 on the season.

CMSV's sophomore goalie Allyson Weakliem (Skillman, NJ/Montgomery) collected the win after making two saves with five goals allowed in the match.

The Dolphins are back in action in a Skyline Conference match at SUNY-Old Westbury on April 17 at 3:30 p.m. They'll look to keep their playoff hopes alive as their road trip to finish their season rolls on.
