Bronxville, NY - The Women's Volleyball team traveled to near by Skyline Conference foe Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday night looking to win their third straight game. After a slow start the Dolphins did just that defeating the Gryphons in four sets. (21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17)
After a long weekend of two five setters you could see the Dolphins came out on Tuesday a step slower than usual. After shaking off the rough first set the Dolphins would find their rhythm and win the next three handily. Leading the Dolphins was Samantha Schroeder with 11 Kills, following up Schroeder was Dez Brown and Tara Maloney who each added 10 kills of their own. On the defensive end it was Gabriella Maggi getting it done with 16 digs in the four sets.
The Dolphins now sit at an overall record of 16-9 and a Skyline Conference record of 8-2. The Dolphins will have one day off before taking on St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Thursday in Peter Jay sharp. Thursday night will be senior night, make sure to come out and support your seniors!
