How It Happened
  • St. Josephs Brooklyn got on the board first in the 33rd minute of action. They then added another goal on a free kick to take a 2-0 lead early in the second half.
  • Derrick Cordova came alive in the second half and started making things happen for the Dolphins. The sophomore got his team on the board in the 67th minute, with CMSV now trailing by one.
  • The Bears then added to their one goal lead on a rocket from outside of the box in the 75th minute.
  • Cordova was not finished yet, as teammate George Laing found the cutting forward who then chipped it over the keeper and in. This pulled the Dolphins within one with 10 minutes remaining.
