How It Happened
1st Set: The Dolphins struggled in the first set, dropping it 25-13. The lone bright spot was
Tara Maloney and
Samantha Schroeder; they each had four kills for the Dolphins.
2nd Set: The Dolphins bounced back with a phenomenal come from behind victory. CMSV was down 22-13 and rallied all the way back to steal the set from NYU. The Dolphins were led in the set by
Madison Gale.
3rd Set: The Dolphins led for a majority of the set and looked to be well on their way to a 2-1 lead, but NYU came alive late and came away with the set.
4th Set: Back and forth action kept the fans on the edge of their seats. The Dolphins and NYU swapped leads multiple times throughout the set but NYU held strong at the end and won the set 25-19. This ended the night and gave NYU their tenth victory of the year.
What's Next?
- The Dolphins will hit the road and head to Connecticut to take on UMass Dartmouth Saturday, September 22. CMSV is currently sporting a record of 1-9 and are looking for a big non-conference win.
