How It Happened

Set 1
The Dolphins picked up right where they left off after the Skyline Conference tri-match this weekend. The team came out on fire and won the first set by a score of 25-12. The Dolphins got contributions from all over in their dominant set performance; leading the way was Samantha Schroeder with five kills, Tara Maloney chipped in with four kills of her own and Rianna Rivera added three kills to her resume as well.

Set 2
A lot of the same happened in the second set as the Dolphins continued to flex their muscles in conference play. They got off to an extremely quick start with three aces in a row from Madsion Gale and a monster kill from Rianna Rivera to jump out to a 4-0 lead. CMSV never looked back as they went on to win the set in impressive fashion by the score of 25-8.

Set 3
CMSV came out a little slow in the third set and were tied with the Bears 5-5 early on. Thanks to a beautiful serving from Sarah Pocas, the Dolphins went on a big 10-0 run to take a 15-5 lead. The team played strong the rest of the way and held the Bears to only five points throughout the rest of the set. With this Dolphins win, they have now won 12 straight sets and are riding a four game winning streak.

What's Next?

The Dolphins get right back into action tomorrow night as they face non-conference foe Hunter College. CMSV looking to continue their four game winning streak and add to their current 12 straight set wins. The Dolphins now sits at 8-13 overall and 5-3 in the Skyline Conference.
