RIVERDALE, NY - Moravian College scored a pair of goals within three minutes of each other early in the first half and never looked back en route to a 5-0 victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon.
Moravian improved to 5-0-1 on the season, while the Dolphins fell to 0-4-0.
Lauren Bertucci opened the in the 14th minute finishing a set piece from Gabby Stelzmiller. Stelzmiller started the play just inside the corner and crossed a ball into the box where Bertucci was able to connect and find the back of the net.
Less than three minutes later Juliana Caranci doubled Moravian's lead to 2-0. Caranci was in with just the goalkeeper and after her inital shot was blocked, she knocked the rebound into the goal.
Val Monaco and Caranci each scored early in the second half, finding the back of the net in similar fashion. Both goals came from the top left of the box and finding the top right of the goal. Erin O'Sullivan's tally in the 88th minute made the final 5-0 in favor of the visitors.
Jamie Daly and Siobhan O'Sullivan Evangelista each played a half in goal for the Greyhounds to combine for the shutout. CMSV goalkeeper

The Dolphins will complete their three-game homestand next Saturday, September 23, when they take on Sarah Lawrence College. Kickoff is slated for noon in Riverdale.
