Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - Despite playing in front of their home crowd, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's women's basketball team suffered a tough Skyline Conference loss at the hands of Mount Saint Mary on Saturday, as they were dropped by the score of 76-46. This now puts the Dolphins' record at 4-2 with a conference record of 3-2. The Knights improved to 5-3 on the year, including a perfect 4-0 record against conference opponents.
CMSV faced tough challengers in Jessica Rini and Kayla Cleare, as the duo dominated both in points and on the boards. Rini, a senior forward, shot 10 of 16 from the field, resulting in 21 points to go along with 15 rebounds. Cleare, her junior counterpart, also recorded a double-double, as she tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds.
As for the Dolphins, a swarming defense resulted in a tough afternoon. Mount Saint Vincent shot just 28% from the floor and converted just 19% of their three-point attempts. Senior
Kelly Nola paced all teammates with 13 points while freshman Arian Rheams recorded seven points, five rebounds and five steals.
The Dolphins will look to get back on track this week, as they face off against the United States Merchant Marine Academy on December 14.
