Men's Basketball Victorious Over Yeshiva

Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's basketball program was on the road for the fourth time in five games this season. But not playing in front of their home crowd didn't alter their game, as the Dolphins escaped the Max Stern Athletic Center on Saturday with a 92-82 victory over the Maccabees of Yeshiva University on Saturday evening. CMSV now sits at 2-3 on the year, including a 1-1 Skyline Conference record, while Yeshiva is one game below .500 in their overall record (3-4).

Senior big Andrew Curiel led all Dolphins with 18 points while shooting 67% from the floor. He also aided in his team's efforts with three rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes of play. Ammad Alkhulaidi also had a strong performance against the Maccabees, as he recorded his first double-double of the season with 17 points and 14 rebounds. The senior currently sits atop the Dolphins' per game leaderboard in both categories (14.4 points, 7.8 rebounds). Raiquis Harris (16 points), Matthew Sowah (seven points, four assists), Jason Barrera (10 points) and Makai Johnson (nine points) were catalysts behind the win as well.

With Yeshiva in the rearview mirror, Mount Saint Vincent now turns their attention to Sarah Lawrence College (1-7, 1-3), who they play on the road on December 5 at 8 PM.
