Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - With 11 seniors suiting up in their second-to-last home game for the College of Mount Saint Vincent (7-7, 6-2), the women's soccer program went out in style as they dominated Old Westbury, winning by the score of 7-0.

It didn't take long for the Dolphins to get on the board, as there were three goals in the first six minutes of play. Senior Nicole Weber tallied a goal in the second minute of play, good for her first goal of 2017. In the third minute, senior Julia McGowan put one past Old Westbury off an assist from Lauren Tate. Less than two minutes later, McGowan scored another goal, which extended the Dolphins lead to three.

The seniors continued to put on a show, as Erin Dailey was the next Dolphin to secure a point. Her fifth goal came at the 18th minute mark, which put the Dolphins up 4-0 at the conclusion at the half. Grace Barry was awarded with an assist.

The dominance continued into the second half of play. Sophomores Jenna McDonnell and Amy Cohen both connected on their first goals of the season. Finally, it was McGowan who put in the final goal of the game. Her hat trick gave her a team-high nine goals this year.

The defense had no issues with the Panthers offense, as they allowed Old Westbury just four total shots. Senior Elizabeth Martin recorded 17 saves, good for her fourth shutout on the year.

The Dolphins will get back to work on Wednesday, as they take on division rivals in Yeshiva University to conclude their regular season.
