Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - Mount Saint Vincent's women's soccer team continued their quest towards the Skyline Conference playoffs on Tuesday as they captured a victory against St. Joseph's College (Long Island) by the score of 1-0. 

The Dolphins got on the board early, and a familiar duo was the reason behind the quick lead. Senior Julia McGowan continued her impressive season, as she scored after just 5:31 of play. The goal is her sixth on the season, which is a team-high. She was assisted by senior Erin Dailey, who added an assist to her four goals this year. 

CMSV wouldn't have been able to secure the victory without tremendous play from goal keeper Elizabeth Martin, who turned away all 11 shots she saw, good for her third shutout of 2017. 

As the postseason nears, the Dolphins will turn their attention to Skyline Conference-foes in Old Westbury, who they'll take on Saturday.
