Men's Soccer Dominant In Rout Against Sarah Lawrence

Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. – It was all Mount Saint Vincent on Sunday, as the Dolphins captured their fourth Skyline Conference victory in a 4-1 win over Sarah Lawrence.

The first half was tightly contested. Despite tough defense being played on both sides of the field, senior Andrew Gomez scored his team-high seventh goal of the season to give CMSV a 1-0 lead in the first half.

After that, the Dolphins took over.

The team's dominant offense was on full display during the second half, as they put three more points on the board. Just four minutes in, junior Augustine Ameruso scored his first goal of 2017. Less than two minutes later, junior Tim Guido followed suit, extending the Dolphins lead to three.

In the 76th minute, freshman Derrick Cordova joined the goal-scoring party, as he put the ball past the keeper for the first time in his career. Both Gomez and Nana-Kofi Agyekum recorded assists in the game.

At 4-1-1 in conference play, CMSV has put themselves in a position for a postseason run.
