RIVERDALE, NY - The CMSV Women's Volleyball team returned to action Tuesday night, hosting non-conference foe Rutgers-Newark at the Peter Jay Sharp Center. The Scarlett Raiders downed the Dolphins in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18), falling to 0-2.
Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week
Tara Maloney led all players with a game-high 20 kills, while
Patsy Sewell added 23 assists and 15 digs and
Chrissy Sewell led the way with 29 digs.
Over the four sets the Mount totaled 36 kills, while hitting .079 compared to 44 kills and a .113 hitting percentage for RU-Newark.
